The third round of edits are complete. After one more read through, they'll go back for a final polish, and then publication. Let’s hope it doesn’t take me very long to get through the final steps.
If it helps, the beta readers have enjoyed it. The one major thing they noted, is the fact that this book sounds NOTHING like Accession of the Stone Born.
Which is a major win in my book. It’s also part of the reason why this book has taken so long to finish. I didn't want Viktor and Gavin to sound alike, and according to the Beta readers, they don’t. Needless to say, there was a mini celebration in the house when I received the news.
Once the book is complete I’ll be taking some time off to do things around the house I’ve ignored over the last several months. After that however, I’ll be working on the next book in the series.
