August is here already?

Hayden deciding my desk is his favorite spot in the world. (I kinda enjoy the sentiment.)

Alrighty, where to start? Well, it's been a big month or so....Let's see, the better half is showing some improvement so that's HUGE. That's something we haven't had in nearly 18 months. My writing has slowed a bit due to medical issues for me. Turns out I hurt my knee and needed get that looked at then there were the yearly exams...the usual.

Due to the appointments I discovered the reason for my headaches/blurry vision and other sight related issues...my prescription needed to be adjusted. Due to compounding issues, i.e. me not updating my current glasses for the last 3 years this will mean a big bump for me. Nothing bad, just makes working more difficult than it had to be.

Onto some not so great news, much like myself most of my cats are older, we're talking most of them being 13 or 14 years old with Cassie pushing 17 or 18. Severus is about 15. This means a few more vet trips. Sol caught a cold and we're giving him his meds to get him back on his feet.

Okay, so there are some upcoming things happening later this year which I will go into when it gets closer...these are all AWESOME things so that's good and it's about the books so even better.
