First off, I'm sorry. I know I've been absent for a while....okay 2 years but I've been on other social media which I realize is no excuse. That being said, the last year and a half has been hectic, please see below under the PLEASE READ section.
Alright, LOTs of news today. I'll start off with the Illuminati Lizards and the HOA had a title change since that's A LOT of text to fit on a cover. Now, it's just going to be called Slaughter-Fest, Exiled Ascendants, Book 6.
I think it's important that I mention that I've completed the book in its entirety. Due to reasons I'll go into at the bottom of this message I'll be waiting to send it to the editors so I can tend to my wife's medical issues. With that said, I'll be posting a pre-order for the book within the next few weeks. I need to work out a reasonable schedule with my editor so it'll work for everyone involved.
Next up, I'll be going back to the titled books the whole Exiled 1 through 6 didn't work as well as I thought it would so, yeah, sorry. That being said, when this happens officially, you'll be seeing all new cover art. What I have, while fantastic, doesn't seem to fit the category as well as I'd like.
In addition, I'll be working on the Nine Realms Saga and turning that into a completed series before the end of the year.
PLEASE READ.
As many of you know my wife had brain surgery last year and it didn't go quite as planned. That's a really polite way of saying it messed her up hard. The only way to correct the issues is to go in and do yet another surgery which will take place on Monday June 16th...five days from now.
Since neither of us know how this will turn out, I'll be placing anything like edits on the backburner until we know how this surgery pans out. It's our hope she'll be back on her feet and in a better place than she was 2 years ago.
Even if that's the case she will have a lot of physical therapy (PT) that'll need to be completed. Since neither of us have family close by I'll need to continue to be there to make sure she's good. Once she's back on her feet and able to handle things on her own, I'll be able to focus on things like edits.
In the meantime, I've started Book 7 and with a little luck I'll have it ready to go by the end of the year even with all the bumps in the road. I want to thank you all for your patience over the last year and a half but I'm sure you understand that taking care of the wife always comes first.
