So to start with, I'd like to clear the air on one of the reasons I bang on New Orleans SOOOO hard. I just took this screenshot on my phone as you can see it's 10:05 A.M. CST here in the Big Easy, and it's 78 degrees and 75% humidity. It's freaking December 28th. It's hot, thick (Not in a good way), and uncomfortable for this time of year. On top of that it means the Gulf will be toasty come spring and that's not good for anyone.
Speaking of unpleasant, I've been fighting with the insurance company about fixing my home that was damaged during Hurricane Ida. That's a big reason you guys haven't heard from me before now. I've spent most of the last several months trying to get them to cough up enough money to fix the window that was damaged...they've flat out denied everything else for reasons that won't go into. Also need to have my doorframe replaced because it's got issues thanks to the whole mess. While we're not getting any closer on an agreement that's reasonable, I am trying to get focused on writing again.

Some good news, Blighted is out as is Introduction to the Cursed One's Episode 1&2. Thank you for picking those up. I really appreciate it. I'm currently working on Penumbra after the holidays I wasn't thrilled with what I'd already written so I gutted the entire thing and started over...so that was fun.
On top of that I've been working on an out of Nine Realms Saga project: Safety in Numbers, Exiled Ascendants, Part 1 (This is a working title...it's not set in stone.) It's mostly wrapped up so that's a positive. I need to let it sit before revisiting it...but it's unlike my usual stuff so we'll see if that turns out to be a positive. (I hope it is)
Other than that, it's mostly pushing on Penumbra, Vigiles Urbani Chronicles, Book 5 and getting feedback on the new project. Hope you had a good holiday season, and let's hope that 2022 is kind to us. I don't know about you guys but I could use a break.
